Oil, Canvas, Ready to hang
25cm (W) x 25cm (H) x 3.5cm (D)
Satin spray varnished for lasting protection.
ABOUT:
One in a series of paintings featuring fruits from my garden in a beautiful crystal bowl gifted from my sister, and lovingly held by hand sewn garments my mother made for us many years ago - quiet symbols of family, care and continuity. Light falling on fruit and passing through glass and across fabric reveal both the physical qualities of these objects and the memories they hold. ❤️
This particular piece features my wonderful home grown pomegranates. Fruits are a new subject for me but I thoroughly enjoyed rendering the rich juicy colours and the challenge of depicting the crystal and its intricate leafy motifs.🍃
Painted in oils with love. xx
Certificate of Authenticity Included.
(Colours may vary slightly due to individual screen settings and lighting conditions)
Complimentary shipping Australia wide - please allow 1-5 business days for dispatch.
